Antigua Sailing Week is the last event of the Caribbean Season and an absolute blast! A week of round the cans day races to test & improve your sailing skills in the sunshine, breeze and azure blue waters of the Caribbean waters.

Famously, there is also a packed schedule of onshore entertainment & activities, so there will never be a dull moment.

For Antigua Sailing Week, LSS is collaborating with Team Emily and host you on the beautiful Elan 450 Emily of Cowes.

This year with be the 55th edition of the Antigua Sailing Week and over the years, this event has become known for its professional organization, competitive courses, favourable trade winds, warm Caribbean hospitality and unforgettable festivities. Every day will offer a different race and the chance to get onto the podium at the prizegiving! Wednesday will be lay day, where after some boat jobs, it will be all about relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

The regatta attracts a diverse fleet of yachts, ranging from high-performance racing machines to elegant cruising vessels. With divisions and classes tailored to accommodate different boat types and skill levels, the event ensures that everyone can participate and revel in the thrill of competition.

THE PLAN

The boat and crew will be in Antigua from Wednesday 24th having just returned from the Les Voiles St Barth Regatta, so if you want to arrive in the harbour on the 24th we will be around and perhaps welcome a hand with boat work

  • Training Days | Friday 26th > Saturday 27th

  • Race Registration day | Sunday 28th

  • Racing Event | Monday > Friday

  • Lay Day & Beach Party | Wednesday 1st May

  • Prize giving | Friday 3rd May

Good to know

  • In case there are boat chores required ahead of the race, you might be asked for a little support by your skipper. It would be great if you could help out if necessary.

  • Fly into Antigua Airport - ANU

    Travel is pretty straightforward to Antigua with it being the main hub for TransAtlantic flights from the UK and the rest of Europe as well as the USA

    • There are no visa requirements for British passport holders in Antigua, although it 's likely that you will have to show how / when you will be leaving the country again. If you have a different passport, please check what applies to you.
