The Tour des Ports de la Manche (or as we know it “the English channel) is a multi day sailing adventure around the Channel coast, part race, part festival.
In July 2026, around 100 boats will set off from Granville, hopping between stunning ports in Normandy and the Channel Islands like Jersey and Guernsey. By day, it’s proper coastal racing with tides, tactics, and salty sea air. By night, it’s dockside drinks, seafood, live music, and great atmospheres in a new harbour each evening.
It’s our first year taking part, and we’re seriously excited about it. Will you join us as we brave this very much chartered adventure?

THE EVENT
It’s competitive enough to feel the thrill of coastal racing, but social enough that it feels like a summer party flotilla. Serious sailing by day and a new port for french food, drinks and dancing every night.
Starting Sunday 5 July 2026.
Start: Granville → Granville (Day 1)
Mon: Granville → Jersey
Tue: Jersey → Jersey
Wed: Jersey → Barneville-Carteret
Thurs: Return delivery to the UK for those wishing to take advantage of that
THE PLAN
Sail down in the race to St Malo, or meet us in Granville.
Leave the boat in Cateret, or sail back with the delivery on the 9th.
GOOD TO KNOW
This is our first time at the event so we will keep you updated as we learn more.
The Whatsapp group will help to coordinate.
Meals eaten ashore are not included in the price.

Previous experience required:
Previous offshore sailing experience required unless this is your first offshore race in the Fastnet Campaign
Experience of spinnakers/gennakers is handy

They will run either 2 short 1-2 hour races or 1 longer race each Sunday.
Time on the water approximately 4-5 hours
