RORC Pursuit Race
🗓️ 19th Sept 2026
💷 £150
*£20 social ticket not included
📍 Hamble - Cowes
For any of you looking for your final chance to race and party at RORC Cowes this year, this is your opportunity!* This one day race was introduced for the RORC Centenary, the Pursuit Race but as it was so popular it’s remained on the programme.
*We will have other non-RORC races available in autumn.
We’d love to have you join us onboard for this cracking end of season race!
THE EVENT
On the water this event typically has one race on Saturday, giving IRC boats the chance to race directly against one another, the lower rated starting first, faster boats setting off in pursuit.
The action will continue ashore at the RORC Cowes Clubhouse, where the race will be followed by supper and end of season prize giving. This year we cannot attend the party and will return to Hamble but happy to drop off crew who would like to do the evening ashore in Cowes.
THE PLAN
Start: Port Hamble Marina
JOIN THE BOAT: Hamble | Friday 18th PM or Saturday 19th AM
OFF THE DOCK: Saturday AM
RACING: Saturday on the Solent
(OPTIONAL SOCIAL: RORC Cowes, tickets £20)
