The joke Cowes to Yarmouth race is a fun and snappy two days of Solent racing. Saturday’s race each starting at Cowes, goes around the Solent finishing off in Yarmouth and then another race back again on the Sunday

Previous experience required:
Previous offshore sailing experience required unless this is your first offshore race in the Fastnet Campaign
Experience of spinnakers/gennakers is handy

The race time depends on the weather forecast heavily but in our experience, with the early morning start, usually just over 24 hours to the Eddystone lighthouse if the wind is a usual Westerly, and faster on the way back downwind.
