The Warsash Spring Championships is split over 2 weekends. Each weekend is a mini-adventure, and LSS are in! It is a great way to hone your sailing after the winter break and keep you fresh into the summer.
THE EVENT
The Henri-Lloyd Warsash Spring Championships promising to offer a couple of exciting weekend round the cans yacht racing events this spring on the Solent.
Each weekend is a mini-adventure, sailors compete to win prizes and trophies, and the competition gets intense! They are cracking fun days on the water and every race is a chance for sharp improvement and learning.
THE PLAN
📍Start: Port Hamble Marina
Saturdays: Meet at approx 0830 in the marina (time TBC). On Saturdays there will be up to 4 races.
Sundays: Meet on the dock 08:30 for racing. Sundays will have up to 2 races.
Expect to be back on the berth around 1600 to head home on Sunday evening.
GOOD TO KNOW
The WhatsApp group will help to coordinate lifts/train collections/drop-offs
If you need to sleep on board Friday/ Saturday nights, we can direct you to the boat. Remember to bring bedding!

Previous experience required:
Previous offshore sailing experience required unless this is your first offshore race in the Fastnet Campaign
Experience of spinnakers/gennakers is handy

They will run either 2 short 1-2 hour races or 1 longer race each Sunday.
Time on the water approximately 4-5 hours
